Our state-of-the-art mill processes oats and various cereal grains to create a diverse range of value-added products – these include whole grains, flakes, and flours and in a range of size specifications. The milling process enhances ingredient quality and versatility and creates a variety of nutritious and marketable food products.
To fulfill performance standards, we collaborate directly with our grower suppliers, many of whom are conveniently located near our facility. This approach ensures that the raw materials entering our mill align with the quality criteria essential for our operations and consumer expectations.
Milled Oats
Whole Grains
Whole grains are created by separating the outer hull from the inner oat grain. This exposes the edible oat groat, which is packaged or undergoes additional processing.
Our millers ensure meticulous hulling of cleaned oats, preserving a nutritious internal grain.
These are also referred to as kiln dried hulled oats (KDHO)
Oat Flakes
Oat flakes are made by steaming and rolling whole or cut oat groats to a desired thickness. Flakes are then dried and can be used for numerous culinary applications.
Oat Flour and Bran
Crafted from ground whole oat groats or flakes, our flour and bran are rich in soluble fiber and essential minerals. Elevate a variety of end products with added flavor, nutrition, and viscosity.
Oat Flour
Oat Bran
Produced from whole oat groats, we carefully grind and separate oat flour from the outer bran. This results in a breakfast cereal that is not only rich in dietary fiber and essential fatty acids but also a substantial source of protein.
Milled Barley
Packed with fibre and other nutritional benefits, barley stands out in various forms – whether on its own or incorporated into cereals, bread, bars, or sprouted products.
Barley Flakes
Barley Flour
A favoured substitute for wheat flour, with a mild, slightly nutty flavor. It shines both on its own and when blended with other flours.
Milled Wheat
We source premium wheat from local producers. Versatile applications of this milled grain range from artisanal breads, pastries, and rolls to ready-to-eat cereal products.
Wheat Flakes
Kibbled Wheat
Carefully prepared through coarse chopping, these wheat grains retain a robust texture.
